Children
We are proud to provide care to the youth of our community. We are actively engaged with children through our work with local athletic teams, specifically with youth football and basketball programming. We work with children of all ages who are managing a variety of musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, developmental or congenital conditions.
Some of these conditions include:
- Cerebral Palsy
- Hip Dysplasia
- Gait Variation
- Muscle Imbalances/Overuse Injuries
- Fractures
- Strains/Sprains
- Scoliosis
We recognize that treatment in children is unique and work to develop relationships with a fun, welcoming atmosphere to create an individualized treatment plan that is age appropriate, addresses their symptoms and aids management of their condition.
Adults
If you are finding it difficult to access the care you need, mobile physiotherapy may be the solution. We provide services to individuals with busy home or work schedules in whichever location is most convenient. Transportation and child care are not required as we are happy to serve you in your home environment. We are able to treat acute or chronic conditions and develop programming for a return to work/sport or simply to improve overall health.
We provide care for a variety of conditions including:
- Joint Replacements
- Spinal Cord Injury
- Neurological Conditions (MS, Stroke, Parkinson's Disease)
- Arthritis
- Discogenic Injury
- Strains, Sprains, Fractures
- Rotator Cuff/Meniscal Repair
Seniors
Catering to the needs of the seniors in our community is very special to us. As we undergo the aging process we naturally experience decreases in strength, muscle mass, bone density, and balance. Unfortunately, these issues often result in pain, or reduction in mobility and independence. Exercise is one of the best ways to prevent or reduce the impact of age-related change. Our goal as clinicians is to work with our patients to reduce fall risk, maintain or improve mobility and increase strength and endurance of muscles in the comfort of their residence. We work with our clients to develop specific strength, mobility or balance programming that is safe and supervised specifically for their needs.
We also are able to provide supplementary therapy to patients currently in hospital or other care facility by coordinating care with the treatment team and family members. We take great pride in providing care to facilitate the highest level of health and independence for each individual.
