Acupuncture began in ancient China and is utilized as a modern method of pain relief. It uses thin needles that are inserted into acupressure points, which help the body to create its own natural pain relief chemicals called endorphins. Through this chemical release, acupuncture facilitates nerve activation, decreases pain, promotes relaxation and healing of the body.

SENIORS
Catering to the needs of the seniors in our community is very special to us. As we undergo the aging process we naturally experience decreases in strength, muscle mass, bone density, and balance. Unfortunately, these issues often result in pain, or reduction in mobility and independence. Exercise is one of the best ways to prevent or reduce the impact of age-related change. Our goal as clinicians is to work with our patients to reduce fall risk, maintain or improve mobility and increase strength and endurance of muscles in the comfort of their residence. We work with our clients to develop specific strength, mobility or balance programming that is safe and supervised specifically for their needs.
We also are able to provide supplementary therapy to patients currently in hospital or other care facility by coordinating care with the treatment team and family members. We take great pride in providing care to facilitate the highest level of health and independence for each individual.
We treat various conditions including:
Arthritis
Osteoporosis
Fractures
Neurological Conditions Including Stroke and Parkinson's Disease
Heart Attack/Cardiovascular Disease
Respiratory Disease
Joint Replacements
Balance Impairments or Other Mobility Issues
Deconditioning
